The Bloody Knife

Attorney George Shoe had just passed the bar and he was now officially an Attorney of Law in California. He had been so immersed in studying for the bar exam; he hadn’t given any thought about where he would practice.
His life worked like clock work until a Dog House, knife and notebook showed up in his apartment. 
George realized, as he was reading the book it was about a woman predicting her own murder. The hairs on his arms stood up and he peered over at the blood-stained knife on his coffee table. This woman had known a secret about a man, yet unnamed wanted her dead. There seemed to be no names in the book. She wanted him to find her killer and put her to rest. She had been a witch and had been a member of a coven.
