A Goldfish Halloween

My name is Mork

I am a goldfish

I live by my wit’

And do what I wish

Wendee my Wendee

I love it so

When you talk, to me

through my goldfish bowl

Mork guess what

It’s time for fun

It’s Halloween

And it has begun

Candy, Candy

I do shout

There’s always more

When you run out

It’s time to dress-up

And to play make believe

I can be anyone

That I please

Why am I telling you

You silly goldfish

You can’t celebrate Halloween

Even if I wish

Wendee, Wendee

Is that what you think.

I swim around all day

And I think

I want to celebrate

 and have some fun

But I need a costume

Can you make me one?

I will slip beneath

The vines that twine

And wear a costume

That’s simply de-vine

Mork Oh Mork

You smart little fish

You understood what I said

I will do what you wish

I’ll bring you some things

Do as you please

I’ll be back

Then we’ll see

Oh Mork, my Mork

You smart little boy

Your costume is great

And you look full of joy

How do you do this

You smart little fish

Nobody would believe me

If I didn’t have this

The picture is great

And I must be insane

For you to be my fish

And to have a brain

Mork oh Mork

You look so great

This Halloween

You’ll be my date

Mork oh  Mork

I see by your tail

That you accept the date

And think it’s swell

Thank you for reading my second Mork poem. There is one more to go.

A Goldfish Christmas

A GOLDFISH CHRISTMAS

Mork is the name

A Goldfish by fame.

I live in a bowl

 That spins and rolls.

Wend-ee, my Wend-ee

She loves me

As I swim round

My goldfish bowl.

I heard her talk

To a friend one day.

She said Christmas

 Was on its way.

She was excited

As I could see

By her rosy red cheeks

Smiling back at me.

As I watched her

 From afar

Her hair flew Round

As she jumped

 Up and down.

Mork Oh Mork

 You silly goldfish

You could care less

You’re only a fish.

Not true, not true, Wend-ee

 hear me please

I just want to decorate

My own Christmas Tree.

How can I say this

So you can hear me

 When you don’t even

Speak fish-e-nese.

Here is your food

 You hungry fish

Enjoy it there’s more

 When you finish this.

I have a tree in my bowl

As you can see

I can decorate it

With the food you give me.

Maybe she’ll get

 The idea fin-a-le

That I want my bowl

To look like a tree

Mork oh Mork

You silly gold fish

What are you doing

Giving me fits.

You silly girl

Can’t you see

I’m decorating

My own Christ-mas Tree.

I don’t believe it

But I think I see

 You want to decorate

A Christmas tree.

I’ll bring you Lights

And other delights

 Do your thing

I’ll check tonight.

0h Mork oh Mork

 I see by your heart

This Christmas Tree

Really look’s smart.

I wrote this along with two other Mork poems in 2003. They were going to be books. The picture is of my daughter Wendy when she was about seven.

Fulfilling Your Dreams

How many of you watch the Hallmark movies? Especially over the Christmas Holidays? Aren’t they corny? Do you know who is going to end up marry who before the program is finished. I am one of those watchers. I love watching those movies. They seem old fashioned to me but what is wrong with old fashioned traditions. Evidently, millions of people watch these movies they must be doing something right.

But one of the things I really love about the program is in most of them the star or main character of each particular movie is asked, “what are your dreams?”

I love that part about each movie? The main character always has a dream to fulfill and, in most cases, it is fulfilled.

For me I had several dreams and many of them have been fulfilled. Years ago, when I started to write I wanted to publish my writing as an e-book. I was just beginning to learn about e-books and how powerful they were. The world at your fingertip. A friend of mine, a computer geek showed me how to take my writing and put make it into an e-book. That dream was fulfilled.

Another dream was to be able to build my own website. I had websites in the past by other people. But I didn’t have control over it. I had to ask the webs person to make adjustments every time I wanted them done.

Now I have fulfilled another dream. I built my own website with telephone help from Blue Host. It was the most amazing thing. I could call and ask any question and presto the immediate problem was solved.

Now my website is all mine. I have listed all my books with a click to take you to www.amazon.com my page. This was my dream. What is yours?

I also, will be selling my art on my website. Everything I wanted in my dream about having my own website is now true.

Hugs and Kisses and Covid 19

Would ever think that there would be a time in our lives when we couldn’t hug our children, spouse, lover, etc.? We are living in this time. When I saw my grandchildren the last time they were far away. I wanted desperately to hug and kiss them but it was not allowed.

Now with the three vaccines becoming available to all people, soon I will be able to hug my kids and grandkids.

We are human beings and we thrive on love and touching. Mental Health has taken a dive though out this pandemic.

Kids being out of school and away from their friends. Adults being out of family and friend contact. We are human beings and we need hugs and kisses, touching to be made to feel happy and alive.

Please get vaccinated

Why Was Your Medical Claim Denied?

Why Denied

What happened your Medical Provider billed your insurance company. The insurance company sent you in the mail or e-mail. Your claim has been denied.

Now what?

What happened?

There are several questions to be asked.

  • Was the correct insurance company billed?
  • Was the correct date of service billed?
  • Was the CPT code correct?
  • Was the ICD code correct?
  • Were the correct charges placed on the correct patient?
  • Is your Medical Information up-to-date in their computer system?

This is just a slim idea of how your Medical Insurance Company can deny payment on a specific date of service.

My book Fight Your Medical Insurance Nightmares!! Gives more information on this problem plus tons of other information you need to know.

What you need to know.

  • For instance, do you know what a CPT or ICD code is. If you don’t you need to know.
  • Do you know the correct Medical Terminology to ask your Medical Provider or Insurance Company?
  • Do you know what hospital your Medical Insurance is contracted with if you need to go to the Emergency Room or be admitted to a hospital?

These are some of the things you need to know.

Thank you for reading my article.
